I joined SAVILOG about 6 months from the company's launch, diving directly into the administrative processes and relationships with the various logistics supplies around the world. My work at this company has been an excellent opportunity to put in place all the best practices that I've gathered along these years as a buyer of freight forwarding services.

As co-founder of a small firm I played various roles throughout the years, including day-to-day administrative issues, such as payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, relationship with suppliers, clientes and partners. My main roles were implementing new business leads as follows:- Developed marketing strategy- Developed client base- Developed prospective buyers for clients' products- Developed relationships with supplier in 15+ countries- Consulted on overseas outsourcing projects- Led various entrepreneurial groups to overseas fairs and meetings- Provided training in-house at clients' companiesMy previous roles at the Brazilian Customs and at a major international carrier have allowed me to offer a more comprehensive consultancy to our clients, and enabled Neo Brasil Trading to secure contracts with different types of clientes and partners.

Initially my work at this family business was to map and develop changes to the administrative processes around the company, implementing work instructions, and providing information to stakeholders. Shortly after my start, an acquisition negotiation started with the Sabin Group (fifth largest Health Services provider in Brazil) and my role became to assist and prepare stakeholders for the negotiation process (lasted over a year).Within the negotiations, I became an intermediary between the two companies, proving them with:- Financial Analysis - Sales Analysis- Organisational mapping- Work structure- Workflow- Developing work instructions- Generating reports and analysis on customer feedback- Mapping client base- Quality Assurance measurementAt the end of the handover process, I resumed my full attention to my core work-related passion: International Business.

Initially started as an intern on October 2007, then I was hired on April 2008 as an employee. I worked at the Documentation Department with export and import traffics, my main role with in this department was to assure that all the data transmitted to and from abroad was in accordance with Brazilian Customs and Foreign Trade Regulations.Parallel to my job at the Documentation Department, I worked as a Junior Auditor for the company's Safety, Environmental & Quality Management. At this department, my main role was to assist senior staff in preparation for audits on the ISO9001 and ISO14001.

Interned at the Customs Import Department at Salvador's port in Brazil. My main role was to triage cases and direct them to senior staff, including accompanying them to inspections. My secondary role was to talk to tax-payers about their cases.
