I am majored in biomedicine with a master’s degree in science (immunology) and a specialist in distance education. Throughout my career, I have gained extensive academic experience as a teacher, focusing on immunoinfectology and supervising undergraduate scientific research. During my undergraduate studies, completed in 2011, I explored the epidemiology of HTLV infection by comparing the prevalence rates between blood banks in Boa Vista, RR, and Maringá, PR. I published an article titled “Human T-cell lymphotropic virus (HTLV) seroprevalence among blood donors at blood centers in Maringá-Paraná and Boa Vista-Roraima,” which highlighted an increase in HTLV prevalence in Boa Vista.From 2012 to 2015, I pursued a master’s degree, where I investigated the immune response of NKT cells in the pathogenesis of HAM/TSP, a disease linked to HTLV. My dissertation contributed a little bit more to the understanding of this condition.Post-master’s degree, I spent approximately six years lecturing on various health topics, particularly infectology, and overseeing projects like Course Conclusion Work (TCC) and Curricularized Extension. I have supervised over 20 projects in a scientific field and created educational materials for distance learning.Between 2022 and 2023, I served as a professor and coordinator of the Biomedicine course. My responsibilities include student recruitment and retention, faculty management, and crisis resolution. I also assisted in establishing the scientific initiation program and was a part of the Structuring Teaching Nucleus (NDE). This role enhanced my skills in educational management and academic leadership.My diverse experiences have enabled me to train professionals across various health fields, including biomedicine, nutrition, nursing, dentistry, physiotherapy, and nursing technicians, along with postgraduate students.
