CurrentEasterly Government Properties is an NYSE listed REIT that is focused on acquiring single tenant, mission-critical assets leased to the U.S. Government, primarily through the General Services Administration. In over 10 years with this company (including time spent with its predecessor), I have been promoted twice and broadened my role to include Asset Management and various strategic growth initiatives. - Perform due diligence on new acquisition opportunities, formulate letters of intent, negotiate purchase and sale agreements, prepare settlement statements, coordinate transaction closings, and transition buildings to asset managers o Acquired approximately 70 buildings located throughout the United States totaling $1.8 billion (transactions ranged from single assets to portfolios of 4-14 buildings)- Evaluate portfolio assets for potential joint venture and disposition opportunities o Co-lead successful 10-building, $200 million disposition that involved evaluating various brokeragefirms, creating projected operating statements, organizing relevant building information files, andcreating and editing internal and external closing documents- Asset manager of portfolio buildings located in Colorado, Utah, California, Illinois, and Montana o Responsible for maximizing cash flow and residual value by managing relationships with tenants and third-party vendors, creating and adhering to budgets, and assisting in lease renewals- Drive new business opportunities through outreach to targeted developers, owners, and investment sale brokers o Sourced 5 off-market acquisitions totaling over $120 million o Manage proprietary database of potential acquisition targets including relevant information onownership, financing, and transaction history
