My company (Utility Contractors Xchange LLC) was chosen as one of ten companies to participate in the 2013 BetaBlox "Seed Accelerator Program". I was voted best presenter for the investor presentation upon the conclusion of the program. BetaBlox is a seed accelerator/business incubator designed to help start-up companies achieve a higher likelihood of success at a faster speed. They accomplish this by providing a bevy of products and services designed not only to help a company grow, but also to prevent it from having to spend unnecessary cash. Every six months, 10 companies are selected from hundreds of applications to participate in the program which provides complimentary turnkey office space, access to investors, mentors, consultation, and more.

As the sole owner of LT's Drill Co I was tasked with the day to day operations of the company including securing contracts, customer relations, scheduling of work and crew members, finances, billing, quality control, training, safety, and maintenance of trucks and equipment. I sold the company to an allied competitor after only 11 months of operations for a profit.
