I am a MSc in biotechnology at WUR where I will specialize in Environmental and biobased biotechnology.Get to know me better through: https://minilucas2709.wixsite.com/lucas-van-passelAfter graduating in Genetics at UCL, I completed a traineeship in algae biorefinery at UTN-FRCH. My ambition is to explore the biotechnological and commercial applications of algae, driving us closer to a sustainable bioeconomy. I'm particularly interested in the agricultural and food sectors, as well as energy, including the production of biofuels. I am open to any internship/ part-time job/research project that can deepen my experience while studying for my master´s. I consider myself a passionate, calm individual. Through international experiences, I thrive in a diverse environment where I am keen to learn and accept different ideas while I polish my knowledge for a career on algae biotechnology.
