I am a senior at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville working towards a business degree in Management with a collateral in Supply Chain on the Entrepreneurship track. Alongside this degree, I have taken general chemistry courses and I am self-studying upper-level calculus to improve my proficiencies in STEM coursework. A strength of mine is my ability as an activator. I am often the first to take a leap forward or catalyze group progress. An example of this is in my past position at Oneida Dental Group. When I started working for this organization I was immediately made aware of a need for improved efficiency and accuracy in terms of managerial accounting. Within the first month there I had created a comprehensive solution to track patient financial records and helped start the business team in the right direction towards improved efficiency. A second strength of mine that I have been using most recently in my current position at By the Tracks Catering is my input learning style. As an input learner, I have been able to learn how to provide all aspects of food service no matter the location and have learned these skills on the fly. Due to my unique learning style, I have quickly picked up on almost all procedure details and steps within my short time with the company and have taken the lead at certain events since.My favorite aspect of business and management is making connections. Whether it's a deal, a sale, a project group, or any other form of connection, I strive to connect very effectively in business. My experiences working at Stanley Steemer in Syracuse and Knoxville have given me this outlook. My goal is to be a manager, most likely in a project team, or supply chain setting. I hope to work in many different industries throughout my career and eventually find a passion and build my own business from there. I hope to work as an entrepreneur once I feel I have an understanding of business management and have built some hard skills in logistics and operations. To do this I plan to gain experience from many different businesses and ideally work with professionals in both the medical and engineering fields. I plan to work directly with members throughout the supply chain and I am very excited to help provide customer satisfaction and be a value-added employee no matter where I work.
