I am a sophomore at IU hoping to receive a informatics degree from the Luddy School of Computing, Engineering and Informatics. I strive for growth each day, which culminated with me leaving home in order to meet new people and have experiences in a place previously unfamiliar to me. I am a reliable team player, proven by my playing of soccer, hockey, and lacrosse. As a captain of my high school lacrosse team my senior year, I learned invaluable team building and leadership skills while helping guide my team through our season. Today, I continue to progress my skills as a member of the IU club hockey team.Over the past few years, I have taken an interest in the financial market and wealth management, which has led me to the finance major I am currently pursuing. This past May, I was afforded the opportunity to work a research internship with J.P. Morgan where I got a behind-the-scenes look at how the bank makes their stock picks and was able to make my own and offer my own analysis on companies to several employees of the bank. I hope to find an internship where I can continue to grow as both a person and a learner. It is important to me to find a place in which I can continue to explore my interest and learn more about myself.
