I explored new sales opportunities in the UK and the Republic of Ireland.

OEM core business is the production of pizza equipment for hotels and restaurants, such as ovens, dough mixers, dough dividers, pizza formers and so on. My task was finding new opportunities in Central Europe and the Balkans Area.

I worked on the project of increasing the number of customers in new and unexplored areas, such as the Baltic states, Scandinavia, the Middle East and Australia. I travelled through this countries looking for new opportunities. The subprime crisis between 2008 and 2009 was devastating and at the end this project was abandoned.

I followed many markets, from Greece to Middle East. In each of them there was a different distribution model (agents, distributors, business providers...) and I had to take care of regular business with these or with direct customers. Reporting to my Business Development Manager, and supported by capable operative assistants, I was mainly in contact with floor installers and retailers, but also with architects and designers. I was in charge of keeping good relations with major customers in the Chinese market. They mainly were big food industries with branches in the wine sector. After sale service completed my tasks on this regard.
