CurrentIn my current role I’m spearheading large-scale digital strategies to drive technical improvement of RBC Wealth Management’s products and services. I have defined the strategic vision for projects that have inspired innovation and ROI across cost reductions, revenue growth, customer experience and loyalty.Use of RBC Wealth Management’s online platforms has grown 400% in the time that I’ve headed up the Online & Mobile Initiatives team. Here are some of the most notable projects I’ve led:• The design, development and implementation new web and mobile platforms for RBC Wealth Management clients. I defined the end-to-end strategic roadmap to replace legacy systems, coordinated a team of around 250 people across 15 teams, and managed 7 vendors to successfully deploy the platforms on time and within budget. Since the deployment in 2020, RBC Wealth Management has seen online platform usage grow by 35%.• Multiple projects to introduce e-delivery of additional documents including trade confirmations, tax documents, annual reports, and portfolio reports to customers, which has resulted in multi-million dollar cost savings. As a result of this work, adoption of e-delivery of documents by RBC Wealth Management customers has increased from 4% to over 60%, one of the highest among major Canadian banks.• A BYOD initiative to create a client service app for 2,000 advisors and associates across Canada, overseeing 100 cross-functional employees and vendors in an end-to-end project to successfully develop and deliver the product. The app won the Best Initiative of the Year in Relationship Management (North America) award at the 2017 Banker & PWM Global Private Banking Awards. It has seen 90% advisor adoption and allowed them to remain fully operational during COVID-19, as well as significantly improving time to revenue and the overall customer experience.
