Alliander is a grid operator (netwerkbedrijf) which delivers gas and electricity in a large part of the Netherlands. Alliander creates a large number of internal web-based applications and apps but also uses several large monolitic applications. Alliander is moving to an agile way of working.Luc directed the team of 6 experts implementing test automation company wide using Robot Framework. - A roadmap was created and approved by IT management to introduce test automation company wide - Two internal test automation courses were created.- The test tooling was made available on a virtual desktop so everybody was able to start using Robot Framework without having to install tools.- A coaching traject was setup to help teams to grow in test automation usage.- 15 teams are using test automation to increase their velocity. - Some teams are introducing devops techniques.

KPN formed a consortium with Conclusion and Motiv to deliver most of the IT for NS, the Dutch railway company. This big project provides desktops, hosting and security services.Luc acted as acceptance test manager for security services. He tested the services Public Key Infrastructure, Security Event and Incident Monitoring, Technical Compliancy Monitoring and High Available Security Platform. For these services risk assessments were performed together with NS which resulted in approved MTP’s and checked the implementation of the ITIL processes executed in Service Now.Luc managed the acceptance criteria lists and after finishing all acceptance tests a dossier was created and the service was officially accepted by NS.For the security platform HASP within the NS.NL datacenter infrastructure Luc executed the performance tests and directed the debugging team to solve the performance issues.

Luc wrote the Master test plan for the project and continued as scrum master for two teams. The program aimed to replace 6 accounts receivable systems by a new one based on CODA of Unit4.Unfortunatly the project is slowed down and reduced to mostly internal staffing.
