I was involved in the company’s operations from the launch until the sale to the Smartbox Group at the end of 2007. By this time, we had branches in Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Denmark and Germany. Turnover amounted to 70m euros and the company had a workforce of approx. 100 employees.My main challenge here was to help oversee the financial and organisational aspects of this new concept. From the manual processing of bookings to a fully automated system, with the automatic processing of bookings and payments to hotels.My job was to select the ERP software and IT partner and roll it out. After careful analysis, we rolled out Navision in all our European branches.
