Worked as a front-end developer to slice and implement functionality for various projects in HTML 4/5, jQuery, and KnockoutJS. Implemented the business logic using MVC and the service layer pattern on top of Entity Framework. Built APIs, or tied in with various 3rd party APIs to increase interoperability. Achievments include creating unit tested, resuable, redistributable collection of modules called Aerospark; modules are loaded into a project via Nuget and IOC. Built and maintained an automated recurring payment processing system tied into a 3rd party payment processor, and a custom eCommerce platform on top of the Windows Azure cloud platform.

Salt Lake City, Ut

Developed and tuned database structures, stored procedures, and front end software for Utah's Student Information System software using Microsoft SQL Server and C# on ASP.NET MVC. Tasks included porting modules from a legacy application written in Visual FoxPro to C#, and building new modules with a medium sized team. Achievements include researching and implementing collaborative bug tracking system, and reducing the run time for a quarterly report from 24 hours to 10 minutes.

West Valley City, Ut

Developed tools to track employee payroll, education, hiring, discipline, attendance. Developed knowledgebases, crms, sitewide notifications, chat, outbound calling , and second tier support systems. Major accomplishments include interfacing with a legacy PBX system to extract phone agent states to be used for payroll, and automating payroll and reports for the entire call floor.

Worked as a top-level liaison between customers and the corporate office to resolve escalated issues. The job involved cooperating with warehousing, upper management, technical support, and customer service. Typical problems included shipping errors, damaged products, researching difficult or longstanding technical issues, and assisting / training other employees on current policy and technical aspects.
