I am a seasoned entrepreneur, business executive, and professor specializing in new business development, boasting over 30 years of expertise in Technology, Investments, Business Development, and Banking. Currently, I serve on the Board of Directors of Cycle Momentum, a prominent CleanTech accelerator in Montreal, and impart knowledge on tech entrepreneurship at Université Laval Faculty of Sciences and Engineering.My most recent role, from 2021 to 2023, was as the Director of Start-Up at the National Bank of Canada Tech & Innovation Banking. Prior to this, I held the position of Guest Lecturer and subsequently Senior Visiting Lecturer at ÉTS, where I also spearheaded Acceleration and Incubation programs at the renowned Centech Tech Accelerator from 2012 to 2020.During my tenure at OMsignal, I served as VP Corporate Development, contributing to Go-to-Market strategies and negotiations with key players in the clothing industry. OMsignal is known for its innovative bio-sensing clothing seamlessly connecting with mobile devices.I orchestrated the restructuring of Biocognisafe, a company dedicated to developing methods and devices for detecting fatigue and sleepiness in critical situations, ensuring safety for drivers and workers.My journey includes valuable experience in technology consulting at Grant Thornton and the establishment of Oh! Airlines after completing the Trium Executive MBA, a program jointly offered by the LSE, NYU Stern, and Paris HEC, numerous time ranked #1 in the World by the Financial Times.From the early days of my career and Internet emergence, I pioneered telweb operations at Schlumberger, leading to the integration of telweb operations in London and Paris within the Telecom Division. telweb, my 2nd business, evolved from my 1st venture started, in 1991, a PC-based credit card validation software to supplying "multimedia pay phones" worldwide. The ground-breaking launch of the world's first webpayphone in 1995 culminated in the acquisition of telweb by Schlumberger in 2000 for a 100M$. Subsequently, with the proceeds, I founded Planet 31 Investments, an angel fund with successful exits such as Lypso Systems (sold to Transcontinental) and Yotta-Yotta (sold to EMC, now Dell).In addition to my professional achievements, I have delivered numerous conferences and lectures at prestigious institutions such as McGill University and the LSE.
