In fourth grade, I developed lesson plans for the unit of the history of the Kumeyaay and North-West Native Americans. Prepared arts and craft materials for students to do rock and sand painting for the Kumeyaay. From the North-West Native Americans, I taught the history of how they recorded their stories on totem poles and we created colorful totem poles and painted masks as part of the art unit.
