HEXPOL Compounding is one of the world’s leading and truly global developers and producers of advanced Rubber Compounds. Sales manager of rubber compounds across South Europe and North Africa in markets such as building and construction, wire and cable, appliances and automotive.

Leading a team of 12 people in the three different factories:+ Drive the standardization of quality related processes for the entire group.+ Drive performance and ensure that Quality Objectives are achieved to ensure that the company continues to deliver high quality products and services that meet quality, business and QMS compliance requirements.+ Lead internal and external audits ISO 9001, ISO 14001, CE mark, CCC, etc+ Monitor changes in the regulatory/Quality requirements and ensure both internal and external stakeholders are trained on any changes. + Develop competency and capability in the QA team to manage change and continually improve.+ Negotiate with the client the specifications in new projects including compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.+ Manage the Supplier Quality System to ensure that the purchased products meet project expectations.+ Manage customer complaints and CAPA.

Leading a team of 8 people. On top of the Quality Manager duties, my main responsabilities were:+ Development of a strong innovation culture to lead the strategic shift of the company from the executive management to the rest of the organization updating the workflow.+ Create an open-minded atmosphere to allow innovative thinking by encouraging others to express their individual point of view, listens carefully to extract business potentials+ Lead the innovation roadmap: market, technologies, suppliers+ Main contact for new projects with public institutions

Leading a team of 6 people:+ Management of Quality System certified IATF 16949 (internal & external audits)+ Implementation of the Quality system + building the quality team (5 people) for the new Menzolit plant in Manchester (UK) (2011-2014)+ Focus on non-quality index optimisation leading to a value below 0.5% of annual turnover+ Manage customer complaints analysing the information through structured problem-solving methods (8D, 5xWhy, Ishikawa, Q-PDCA).+ Supervise the control activities of the product, processes and testing.+ Coordinate the approval and continuous evaluation of suppliers/products. + Promote, follow up and evaluate the effectiveness of corrective and improvement actions. + Main contact for key existing suppliers both for quality and technical approach of new developments.+ Technical account manager for top 2 customers (8 M€ turnover)+ Drive the company through CSR assessment+ Part of the European Quality Group: benchmarking and data harmonisation+ Auditing and coaching of Menzolit Chinese licensee (Shanghai)+ Member of the Management Team clearly focus on customer satisfaction and CI processes.

Leading a team of 3 people+ Incoming goods and finished product inspection and acceptance+ Statistical process control and FMEA to prioritize investments in production+ Perform Measurement System Analysis (R&R) for key test methods+ Building of in-house colour development technology reducing production lead times + Passing and maintaining UL certifications+ Updating IMDS (International Material Data System) for the automotive industry's materials.
