Lucia Salgado is an early childhood educator and a proud mother of two young bilingual children. She has a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from the prestigious University of Manizales in Colombia, her native country. She came to the US in 2005 to expand her education and horizons. As a mother and teacher of young bilingual children she attended different enrichment classes and came to understand the importance of a strong support system when raising children to be bilingual. From her passion for early childhood and observing the needs of her own children, Lucia developed the program, Un-Dos-Tres Spanish. Lucia has more than fifteen years of teaching children in different scenarios, working with infants, toddlers and preschoolers as well as older children both in pre-schools, workshop programs and private settings.
