I have been engaged in the financial market for 33 years. I initiated my career at BankBoston in 1983.In 1985, I started at Banco Safra where I was responsible for the proprietary portfolios of Safra Bank's main shareholders. In 2002, I was appointed as CEO of Safra Asset Management Unit. In 2006, I was invited to take the position of CEO for Latin America at ABN AMRO Asset Management based in Sao Paulo - Brazil.In 2008 , I was appointed as the CEO for Santander Brasil Asset Management to integrate both, ABN-AMRO's and SANTANDER's Asset Management Units, leading an extensive process to its completion.During my mandate I was a member of the Executive Committee for Santander Asset Management Holdings - UK. In 2011, I was elected as a board member of of Principles for Responsible Investments - PRI. PRI is an entity in partnership with the United Nations.I was board member from 2011 until 2015.I was recently confirmed as a member of the Investment Committee of the Joint Staff Pension Fund of the United Nations.
