Lucian Moraru is a musician from Romania. After studies at the Academy of Music in Bucharest, he completed his musical education in the Netherlands and in Great Britain. In 2008 he graduate the law school at the Nicolae Titulescu University in Bucharest . He started his career as a member of the George Enescu Philharmonic Orchestra parallel with a persistent soloist and chamber musician activity. He has appeared as a soloist with conductors as Daisuke Soga, Sergiu Comissiona, Petre Zbarcea and Horia Andreescu. His solo touring includes Romania, Sweden, Canada , Greece, Russia and Italy. Lucian Moraru activate as viola player in many chamber groups, string quartets, string trio, string quintet and other chamber music ensembles too . Sometimes he act also as a freelancer geared up in various musical projects of production and thus enlarge area of his activities in the sphere of music studio producer, musical director for TV transmissions and musical Arrangements. In early 2005 established "TRAFFIC Strings" – a instrumental group that addresses a varied repertoire: pre-classical music, classical, romantic, modern and contemporary . Beyond his viola playing he writes musical arrangements and orchestrations for instruments as clarinet, trumpet and pan flute. He adapts classical repertoire such as Antonio Vivaldi's the four seasons for PanFlute and string Quintet, project who was premiered in a Canadian tour in January 2006 and which was recorded in May 2006 by Maestro Gheorghe Zamfir together with TRAFFIC STRINGS. In 2009 he arranged a bouquet of Astor Piazzolla' s Tango for string quintet , accordion, Pan Flute and Piano project who was recorded on a C.D. called Tango Finesse .
