Junior Marketer

I had joined the CMH Group as a junior marketer in early 2023 under the CMH Marketing Learnership. I had been tasked to assist the Datcentre Pinetown marketing lead with overseeing the marketing activities of 3 new car departments, and 1 used car department.During my time as a junior marketer, I had been responsible for:• uploading vehicles onto automotive marketplaces such as Autotrader, Cars.co.za, and Carshop• ensuring that all demonstration vehicles are branded with signage• formulating marketing materials in conjunction with the monthly marketing plans• copy-writing specialized blogs to maintain healthy SEO• planning monthly events for all new car departments and establishing outdoor displays• procuring marketing material for the dealership• generating leads to online ad campaigns• following up on customer inquiries to ensure CSI is maintained• collecting and analyzing marketing data to submit to head-office to assist with future marketing endeavors After my 12 month learnership had concluded, there had not been an available marketing position within the dealership, however, to retain my skills, my dealer principal had offered me a permanent contract as a sales executive.
