I served as the head of the digital department, overseeing short-term and long-term strategy for all of FOX61’s digital and social platforms, including FOX61.com, the FOX61 News app, YouTube, and FOX61+.I spearhead digital reporting initiatives, plan live streams and videos, and hold TV reporters accountable for contributing daily digital content. I work closely with the news director and other managers to find different ways to tell stories and encourage our plan of a One Content Team with a focus on showcasing strong stories digitally.

I assisted the managing editors with a team of 10+ reporters – assigning stories, approving pitches, and copyediting articles for the national and foreign news verticals for FoxNews.com. During breaking news, I worked with reporters and other section editors to quickly write copy and send out alerts. Additionally, I covered senior editor shifts, determining the headlines and article placements on the homepage, as well as assigning, approving, and editing stories from all sections of the website.

I handled breaking news, short and longer-form original and daily write-ups for the national and foreign verticals for FoxNews.com. During the 2019 Women’s World Cup, I led the coverage alongside the sports editor, securing interviews with the U.S. Women’s National Soccer team ahead of their departure to the tournament in France. Additionally, I assisted the senior news editors in managing the reporters by assigning and editing stories for all sections on the homepage.

As a reporter, I pitched, wrote, and produced articles for the national, foreign, and sports verticals for FoxNews.com. As a homepage editor, I worked with the senior and managing editors to curate the stories and photos that appeared on the website’s homepage.

As the entertainment editor/reporter, I handled breaking news, short and longer-form original and daily write-ups, secured exclusive and high-profile Latino celebrity interviews at red carpet events, in studios, live award shows and over the phone. Additionally, I handled breaking news and daily write-ups for the sports vertical, leading the coverage for the 2014 Men’s World Cup, 2015 Women’s World Cup, and the 2016 Rio Olympics.

I wrote original and breaking news stories focusing on local politics and entertainment in 12 towns in western Vermont. I secured interviews with Vermont’s local officials and the state’s Congressional delegation for stories on how national issues were impacting local Vermonters.
