Lucía works at the intersection of design, venture building and large-scale organizational transformations. She enjoys tackling complex and uncertain system-level design challenges in a disruptive way, such as how to close the ever-growing skills gap in Latin America. Always at the service of delivering impact at scale. She is currently a Senior Design Lead at the Global Transformationpractice at IDEO, the most acclaimed design firm in the world, where she helps large-scaleorganisations and countries take bold leaps towards an equitable and sustainable future. Prior to joiningIDEO, she was one of the founding members of La Victoria Lab, the innovation studio co-founded by IDEO and Peru’s most prominent and diversified economic group, to improve the lives of Peruvian middle-class families through Human-Centered Design. During her time there, she led projects focused on re-imagining the future of Intercorp companies, driving cultural change and creating new ventures from the ground-up, such as Colectivo23. She also served as Portfolio Head at Intercorp Education. Prior to La Victoria Lab, she co-founded the first Latin American e-commerce for socially conscious brands and products. Because of this endeavour, she was awarded 'Innovator under 35 - TR35' and 'Social Innovator' by the MIT. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of Colectivo23 and Grupo Estrategia and is a One Young World Ambassador. Lucía holds a B.S. with honors from Universidad del Pacifico (Lima, Peru) and an MSc in Entrepreneurship with Distinction from University College London (London, UK), where she studied as a Chevening Scholar.
