About Lucie Fitchett
I am a fully qualified Person Centred Counsellor and member of BACP. I have always been involved in working with people, celebrating the uniqueness of what we all bring. My style of working is collaborative. The client and the counsellor together build a therapeutic relationship within which the client is fully accepted, and heard in a safe space. This holding space is one of trust, empowerment and development in which the client can examine their experience, and what they may be struggling with. This process leads to being able to move forward, finding a place where you learn more about yourself and what you need. I have experience of working with issues such as bereavement, adoption, baby loss, self esteem/identity issues, divorce, dementia, being a carer, partners and family of alcoholics. I am an independent panel member of Adoption South East.
