• Engage in advocacy, negotiation and mediation on behalf of clients with landlords, letting agents, and statutory organizations, including DEASP representatives and council officials.• Collaborate with the staff of other statutory and voluntary organizations.• Monitor changes in regulations applicable to the housing sector, analysing and advising tenants on those changes and their implications in an accessible and understandable manner.• Maintain a clear and comprehensive CRM database according to GDPR to contribute to the organization’s policy, research, and lobbying function.• Perform analysis and review of documents served to tenants to ensure information complies with legal requirements of the relevant housing legislation.• Contribute to the organization’s policy, research, and lobbying function, particularly by identifyingqueries which have wider policy implications.• Provide assistance to clients in preparing their dispute applications for the Residential Tenancies Board and representing them at hearings, if necessary, while maintaining empathy and attentiveness to the client's situation.• Collaborate with other advisors, management, policy, fundraising, and marketing teams on a regular basis to support the team and the organization.
