Extensive Design and Build project involving building Foundation Replacements, structural retrofitting, interior and exterior reconfiguration for disabled access.

I entered this position within a volunteer group (s) that quickly came together as the National Hospital of Ukraine was ill prepared for the total logistics of caring for an enormous level of badly wounded and abused soldiers and Prisoners of War at the onset of a Hot War on Europe's Eastern Flank . I did not have any preexisting contacts or relationships, but was recommended by a person who knew one of the Doctors at the Hospital. I had a special project of my own that I implemented easily enough and became well liked for my originality and dedication to service. Actually there were 2 or 3 special projects I did.

Audubon Canyon Ranch was just starting to build up a regular monitoring and research program at this facility- they had been counting the birdlife on the Livermore Marsh for some years and also wanted to expand into larger studies of the bay. I was given the opportunity by Cypress Grove's owner (Clifford Conly Jr., a retired San Francisco Architect) to work for him on the upkeep of the historical property, gardens and facility while I conducted my own studies of Tomales bay's unique environment.
