As a research assistant at the West African Centre for Cell Biology of Infectious Pathogens (WACCBIP), I apply my skills in bioinformatics and machine learning to address various biomedical challenges. My latest research project involved predicting anti-inflammatory compounds for the treatment of COVID-19-induced cytokine storm using machine learning and molecular docking. I am also a master's student in computer science at the University of Ghana, where I am expanding my knowledge and expertise in Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence (AI). I have a bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering from the same university, where I worked on several projects related to medical device design and optimization. I am passionate about using technology to improve health outcomes and access in low-resource settings and I am always eager to learn new skills and collaborate with others who share my vision.
