The Yachts business is an extremely exciting part of the Marine businesses operating a global fleet of over 900 boats, selling both Yachts and Charter holidays to a worldwide market under the brands The Moorings, Sunsail and Leopard Catamarans.Major Responsibilities & Duties: - Group Reporting (BS forecast, cashflow) - Group Capex and Stock Reporting - Croatia, Greece, France, Seychelles & Thailand tax, audit and regulatory reportingKey Tasks and Responsibilities:• Gaining a strong understanding of Yachts global business model and accounting methodology applied across the group and leveraging this understanding to take ownership for ensuring accuracy of financial reporting.• Responsible for compliance with local reporting requirements in the countries of responsibility, how these differ from IFRS and maintaining reconciliations between the two. • Responsible for leading local audits and liaising with tax advisors as required.• Responsibility for the balance sheet control in the countries of responsibility. Ensuring all accounts are fully reconciled on a monthly basis and all the accuracy, completeness and existence of all balances are confirmed.• Responsible for management of the statutory and regulatory and tax processes, working with the third party firms where applicable to ensure on time and accurate filing.• Ensure compliance of COSO control framework for entities under my control and proactively rectify any areas of non-compliance on a timely basis within the Yachts division.• Assisting in the development of business financial processes and ensuring they are implemented and regularly maintained. • Proactively seeking to maintain and improve all financial controls, ensuring the processes are fully documented, frequently reviewed, updated and communicated as appropriate across the Yachts group.
