Lucille Howe is an energetic and cultured actress and writer. She graduated from Manchester University with a BA (Hons) in Drama and went on to study acting at Drama Studio London. She is represented as a screenwriter by Deborah Shaw at Nylander Shaw and as an actress by Jessica Jones at Winterson's.Her writing on travel, culture and lifestyle has been published in, among others, The Guardian, The Times, The Telegraph, Stylist, Grazia and Conde Nast Traveller. She has also lead courses on Creative Writing for C4 and The Telegraph.​During her time as Features Editor on Cosmopolitan Magazine, Australia, she wrote her first book, Bondi Blonde, which saw her represented by Curtis Brown and has since been adapted by Lucille into feature film, Bondi Brit. She also wrote a raft of ‘sealed sections’ where cutting-edge copy like, ‘Why a line of coke is cheaper than your cappuccinio’, was just a perforated tear away.Lucille lives in South East London with her photographer husband, and her Swiss mountain dog, Buckley. When she's not writing or acting she enjoys hot yoga, wild swimming and hula hooping.
