-Lead the efforts for the County of Santa Barbara to resolve encampments of persons experiencing homelessness. -Work closely with service providers, stakeholders, jurisdictions and other impacted entities to address the shelter and housing needs of persons living in encampments. -Deploy a multi-departmental field team to assess health and safety risks and coordinate all follow-up actions.-Manage implementation of Community Action Plan to Address Homelessness, including stakeholder and community engagement and facilitation of Elected Leaders Forums to Address Homelessness.

Launched and monitored grants to sub-recipients, including training, reporting, and oversight. -Lead 100 Day Challenges to reduce homelessness among target populations (youth and veterans). Work with HUD to build system leaders, sponsors, team leaders, and team members to establish goals and benchmarks, as well as plans to accomplish objectives. Monitor progress, report to HUD and stakeholders, and motivate teams to achieve goals. -Support and manage local objectives throughout COVID-19 response: Prevent and mitigate impacts for persons who remain unsheltered through support centers and outreach re-establishing access to showers, device charging, food and hygiene supplies. Establish non-congregate sheltering for persons at highest risk of complications. Sustain shelter capacity for persons not experiencing COVID-19 symptoms. Enhance homelessness prevention and housing activities through increased funding for rental assistance and supportive services.

-Recruit, cultivate, and support Emerging Leaders Alumni Leadership Council (ALC) to provide successful volunteer leadership. Serve as the main point of contact and liaison between Leading from Within and Emerging Leaders Alumni Leadership Council. -Leverage collective intelligence, experience and resources in the alumni community by helping alumni know each other and the resources each of them brings to the community.-Work with ALC to create and host events that cultivate a vibrant, engaging network that serves the needs of the ELP Alumni.
