Caring Contact is devoted to promoting emotional well-being and preventing emotional crises by providing opportunities for people to express themselves to compassionate listeners in a safe environment. We are a crisis and suicide prevention hotline and educate members of our community in suicide awareness and intervention.As the Development Director I am responsible for all individual giving, donor stewardship and communication, and major gifts. I also supervise grant writing and work closely with the Outreach Coordinator and Executive Director .

Recruited and supported chairs, staffed events, trained volunteers, analyzed results. From 1987-1992 - Staffed the Keystone section of the Centennial Campaign, responsible for soliciting gifts of $10,000 - $100,000. Recruited, trained and supervised alumni volunteers residing from Maine to Florida. Leader of team that successfully solicited a $1.8 million gift.
