I lead a team of Delivery and Engagement Partners who aim to improve our contractor engagement and recruitment process delivery through operational excellence. I joined Marshall McAdam as a founding member in 2009 to establish and manage the Talent Research function where I lead a team to build talent pipelines of specialised technology and finance professionals through to executives. I also specialised in contract recruitment and contractor management, providing interim solutions, tools and people strategies tailored to meet individual clients' and candidates' requirements. As the business grew and evolved, so did my role. As Operations Performance Manager and a member of the leadership team at Marshall McAdam, I managed projects to drive change, improve our processes and ensured that the teams are amongst the best in the market. I was responsible for overseeing the commercial and general operations of the business. This is largely focused on talent pooling, hiring and onboarding our people and overseeing their ongoing training and development. It also encompasses our digital media strategy and process and systems control. I work intimately with the team to coach and mentor them in building their skills and capabilities to assist them in further developing their own specialisations including building talent pools and pipelines.

As Practice Manager, I was responsible for managing 15+ consultants working across contract and permanent recruitment in the Accounting and FInance market. This was broken into two teams; Finance Operations (support roles) and Senior Accounting and Finance (mid to senior qualified accounting roles).

This was a newly created role where I built a strategy and hired a team to deliver a specialist service to our major accounts (namely a large government department and a big 4 bank). This required a new way of thinking for the time where the team were highly engaged with clients and proactively building talent pools for these businesses.

This project involved building networks and relationships with various parties across the confectionery industry, joining world production leaders and training providers with local businesses to provide training materials and traineeships.
