In 2003, he also successfully completed a degree in Tech. Architecture at the same university. In addition, he completed a Master of High Environmental Management (2001), a Master Degree of Health and Safety Management (2002) and a Master of Sustainable Architecture (2004). He received a Building Engineering degree that he earned at 2012. He also gained a course in Energy Security (University of Cambridge, 2012) and a Master Degree in Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energies (2013). Finally, he is beginning a PhD program related to efficient buildings and energy markets. He joined General Motors Corporation in 2000 as General Supervisor of the Plant Engineering Department. In 2003, Lucio de la Cruz Pérez was selected to start the Energy and Environment Section in University of Zaragoza and became the head of the department. His tasks are both developing several energy efficiency and environmental projects at National and International levels and designing and overseeing engineering and architectural projects for a large number of buildings and installations. In 2007, he was also designated as coordinator of Green Office, which is a new office focused on developing environmental awareness between university students and teachers. Later, he became the head of the working group of Environmental Improvements in University Buildings in Spain. In 2013, Lucio was appointed Vice President of the College of Technical Architects of Zaragoza. He has participated actively in an important number of energy efficiency projects applied in the industrial, service and residential sectors. He is co-author of one publication about savings energy cost in public institutions and others about energy saving in buildings.Nowdays he is performing the job of manager director at College of Technical Architects of Zaragoza.
