I am a devout believer in that everyone, no matter if their name is on a door or on a shirt, deserves a career that is both personally fulfilling and rewarding.I am on a mission to totally and completely eradicate employee disengagement in the workplace (yep, no joke).Building a better employee and human experience at work has become my purpose. My Ikigai. The level of employee engagement is hands down without a doubt the greatest determinate of an organization’s success. I can stand on my soapbox and get pretty long-winded about why I feel this is true but I’ll simplify it down to the 5 building blocks of Employee Engagement: Strategy, People, Ownership, Recognition, and Kaizen (or SPORK for short).My career has given me the privilege to work with startups to Fortune 100 companies, and everything in between. From evaluating and solving a very specific problem to laying the foundation of which a truly great organization would be built; every single time there has been some level of putting the steps in place to improve employee engagement.People almost always think it's a human resources problem. I wish it was that simple. It's everyone's problem. It's not ”soft stuff”. It requires hard work and a different level of leadership. The purpose is rather simple, the belief is pretty bold, and the mission is a bit crazy.But, it's all possible.Let's get to work!
