Primary objective: connecting people, ideas, research & evidence to advance the social mobility agenda. • Build new & evolve existing relationships with educational bodies outside of NTU with the aim of equipping students with the skills to succeed & to ensure successful educational transitions to university. • Tailor our approach to each ‘Account’ (school), ensuring expectations are understood & met on both sides throughout the engagement period. • Create & lead the delivery of events & projects that increase our reach & engagement levels across new audiences.• Lead a team to deliver flagship projects within specific recruitment & delivery KPIs.• Look for new & innovative ways to communicate with our internal & external partners in order to streamline process - saving time, money & resource. • Consultancy for theories of behaviour change, social marketing, communications, audience engagement & branding.ACHIEVEMENTS: • Influenced & executed a shift in strategy in June 2014 - moving from executing 100s of events & serving 100+ schools with limited impact to focusing on key moments in the calendar & fostering impactful relationships with 30 schools across Nottinghamshire. • Designed & delivered new approach to information delivery to ensure we were communicating valuable, quality guidance with clear next steps outlined for the audience. • Position Centre for Student and Community Engagement (CenSCE) & NTU as the preferred ‘go to’ institution, elevating the brand image of the department & institution in the minds of aspiring university students & their families.• Established links with local medium & large-sized businesses to reinforce the value of a university education & experience in the minds of relevant employers. • Designed & managed events bringing business partners, CenSCE & NTU to our audience in one place to deliver career planning workshops to provide inspiring experiences & useful tools that help them achieve their goals.

Primary Objective: to design and deliver an evidence-based outreach programme to engage and empower widening participation pupils to achieve success and encourage progression to further and higher education. ACHIEVEMENTS: • Managed performance and wellbeing of Student Ambassadors to support positive messages about NTU, higher education and enhance outcomes of outreach sessions.• Designed and delivered a programme of sequential interventions based on the principles of growth mindset and focusing on the characteristics of success within the character education agenda.
