Clemson University undergraduates must create an ePortfolio providing evidence of academic and experiential mastery of Clemson's General Education competencies. As a scorer for the Social Sciences, I am responsible for providing feedback on submitted work for this competency in order to let administrators know how strong students' submitted work is as an argument for their academic prowess and engagement with the subject matter.

As a Bookseller at the Barnes & Noble in Bethesda I work primarily in the café but should begin training throughout the store soon. My primary functions in the café are to run the cash register, take drink orders, and to execute drink orders in a friendly and efficient manner in a high traffic environment. I am also responsible for other chores that keep our café running smoothly and efficiently such as food prep, dish washing, and keeping the lobby clean and inviting.

As a trained and experienced Bookseller, I am responsible for attending to training and troubleshooting for the temporary book rush employees as well as providing an efficient expeditive experience for our customers. I am trained to run the front end with little to no support from a supervisor, including returns/refunds, buying back textbooks from students, and ringing up students with varying book scholarships.

As Café Supervisor, I was responsible for training booksellers to work in the café, making any and all orders pertaining to the function of the café, and opening the café 5 days a week often as the sole operating staff for up to seven hours each of those days. I was also responsible for keeping the Convenience section organized, stocked, and up to date.

As a Bookseller at Clemson I worked as a cashier and in clothing. My primary duties were to run the cash register, field phone calls and customer inquiries, maintain a neat, attractive, and well-stocked clothing section, assist customers in locating various items, and clean as needed. I also worked both Rush and Buy Back (being the high traffic times when students purchase, and then later attempt to sell back, their textbooks) as a cashier.

As a Core Associate my responsibilities are to meet and greet customers, ring up purchases, assist customers in locating and sampling various items, and retain a knowledge of product perks and sales. I typically work floor sets, in which my primary goal is to execute the marketing strategy flawlessly to ensure that every display is as pictured. Every prop and product must be attentively set in place.

As an experienced cashier, I am your "go-to girl" in this seasonal position. Apart from quickly, calmly, and efficiently processing customer purchases through a very busy season, I also provide supervisory instruction and trouble shooting assistance for my fellow cashiers. I am a flexible worker, spending some time on the sales floor tending to customer queries and some time behind the registration desk entering customers' personal data into our database.

As a Bookseller at USC I almost exclusively worked in the Barnes and Noble Literary Café, but I also spent some time helping with online textbook orders and working in the football stadium selling sports paraphernalia. My primary functions in the café were to run the cash register, take drink orders, and to execute drink orders in a friendly and efficient manner in a high stress high traffic environment. I also took part in training new staff members, food prep, dish washing, and other odd jobs to keep our café clean and inviting.
