In my role at Holcim, I was entrusted with an essential administrative function, focused on ensuring accuracy and efficiency in data management. Each day, I diligently inputted new data into our system, meticulously updating customer information to maintain our records' integrity. Utilising Google workspace I streamlined processes and organised data effectively, contributing to the smooth operation of the administrative workflow. Additionally, I proactively reached out to customers via phone calls, gathering updated information to keep our database current and comprehensive.

New Zealand

I worked as a staff all rounder in a small team at an exclusive lodge in the Marlborough Sounds. My duties included, front of house, barista, bar tender and housekeeper. I provided exceptional customer service to lodge guests, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their stay. I was also tasked with redesigning the Raetihi lodge guest book using my graphic design skills.

Netherlands

I spent a month working at Camps De Bosrand in the Netherlands. My responsibilities included the housekeeping/cleaning of the glamping tents and ensuring guest satisfaction. I was also responsible for making sure guests had a fun and memorable experience, whilst guaranteeing they had everything they needed for a wonderful stay. My other responsibilities included feeding and looking after an array of different animals, as well as getting stuck into farm maintenance tasks, such as painting, staining, cleaning, mucking out and weeding. I also learnt to drive a small tractor.

United Kingdom

I completed a three day climbing instructor course which allowed me to teach indoor climbing in a safe and controlled manner to both kids and adults. I also lead several other sporting activities which included Football, Segway and Archery. I assisted with multiple nature activities which included RNLI water safety, pottery painting, pond dipping, and safety bracelet making.

Updated stock inventory lists to ensure accurate stock replenishment orders could be placed. Accurately and rapidly labelled products with prices and discounts as necessary for the Boxing Day sales. Built home furnishings for displays. Selected accessories to produce attractive room set designs.

Italy

Tutored two children aged seven and 16 in English language and culture. Engaged children with games and puzzles. Helped with jobs around the house including cooking, cleaning and fruit picking. Taught children how to complete basic crafts such as paintings, drawings and decorations. Provided children with nurturing, safe environments to promote emotional, social and intellectual growth. Communicated with parents about daily activities, behaviours and upcoming events. Read stories to children, facilitated discussions and tied books into learning opportunities.
