I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Cognitive Neuroscience and am currently furthering my research experience to prepare myself to excel in a graduate program. I have a great passion for learning and look forward continuing my education.During my undergraduate studies at Penn I learned a great deal about behavioral neuroscience and how to conduct experiments examining human cognition. I conducted a pilot study with the Sharon Thompson-Schill lab that explored the neural correlates for creative object use. My role included contributing to the experiment design, programming the stimuli presentation using E-Prime, writing a code in MatLab to randomize the stimulus presentation, and performing the data analysis using FSL. Since then I've decided to broaden my research skills and gain bench experience in the biomedical field. While at Cooper I've been working on a project that examines the roles of MyoD and Noggin in Rhabdomyosarcoma's resistance to treatment, as well as their roles in wound healing. Through these projects I've learned many skills in cell culture and molecular biology, as well as how to handle mice.
