Providing support and expert advice to department managers and employees in line with employment legislation, company policy and company goals and objectives. • In conjunction with the department manager, have responsibility for facilitating and managing complex employee relations issues such as redundancy, restructure, TUPE, disciplinary, grievance and absence management.• Developing and improving internal HR practices and processes to ensure an effective and high quality operational HR support function is provided to department managers and employees across the organisation. • Assisting managers in developing and retaining talent. • Sourcing and organising training for employees, ensuring that appropriate and cost effective rates are negotiated. • Monitoring absence levels and providing statistical reports to department managers, advising and making recommendations where necessary. • Reviewing current company policies to ensure they are in line and up to date with employment legislation. Writing and implementing new company policies when required. . • Delivering corporate training to managers and employees across the organisation. • Coordinating and supporting recruitment where required.
