Key Responsibilities:• Provide professional support services to the Dean (L&T) to meet the outcomes of the Griffith Sciences Group Operational Plan.• Contribute to review, development and implementation planning within the learning and teaching domain and as directed by the Group Executive.• Collaborate and foster strong networks with administrative and academic staff of relevant elements to achieve the desired outcomes in this domain.• Research and draft correspondence, briefing/discussion papers, strategy and position papers and reports under the direction of the Dean (L&T).• Coordinate and provide secretarial support to committees and working parties established by the Dean.• • Coordinate and provide administrative support to outreach and pathway activities as directed by the Dean.Key Achievements:• Development of overarching Strategic Work-plans across the L&T team to identify goals, objectives and specific actions and aligned with the Schools Strategic Plan and priorities.• Creation of Calendar of Activities to provide a long-term mapping of activity across the areas of Retention, Recruitment and Retention.• Facilitated the introduction of Peer Assisted Study Sessions throughout the Sciences Group and recruited and supervised PASS Coordinator.• Provided leadership and agenda setting to the Griffith Science L&T Committee and Griffith Sciences L&T Citations and Grants Panel and acted as Secretary to both.
