I am a freelance author and illustrator currently seeking work. Since graduating from the MA Children's Book Illustration course at Cambridge School of Art in 2017 I have seen my debut picutrebook ‘Nipper and the Lunchbox’ (Child’s Play) published in the UK, USA and Australia in 2018. The book also since had three co-editions (danish, dutch and turkish) and features in the 2018 Peters’ calendar. In 2019 it was nominated for the ‘Read it Again!’ award, Cambridgeshire Libraries’ children’s picture book award and more recently won a ‘Northern Lights Book Award’ (an award honoring children’s literature of exceptional merit) in the ‘Animals / Pets’ category.I have ran workshops at 'author days' with local primary schools and participated in a variety of illustration campaigns such as 'The Bookmark Project'.I am represented by Caroline Walsh at David Higham Associates and also run my own Etsy Store.

Papperlapapp is a bilingual children’s magazine. Each edition of the magazine features parallel bilingual text, which is printed in German and one other language prevalent within immigrant communities in Austria, Germany and Switzerland. The magazine currently exists in the following nine language combinations: German/Albanian, German/Arabic, German/Bosnian-Croatian-Serbian, German/Farsi, German/Polish, German/Romanian, German/Chechen, German/Turkish and German/English for children who speak German as their first language or whose native language is not very common in German-speaking countries.I got to illustrate ‘The Order of Things’ by Matthäus Bär which follows the sweet character Mika and her father.

Commissioned to produce a set of Cornwall inspired images to feature in NHS Royal Cornwall Hospitals Annual Report 2020.

Nipper and the Lunchbox is my debut picture book as an author / illustrator and is based on a real life rescue dog called Nipper and his real life owner Richard.It was published by Child’s Play in 2018 in the UK, USA and Australia and has both Danish, Dutch and Turkish co editions.The book features in the 2018 Peters’ calendar and in 2019 it was nominated for the ‘Read it Again!’ award, Cambridgeshire Libraries’ children’s picture book award.It is also a winner of a Northern Lights Award in the ‘Animals / Pets’ category.“Nipper is a little dog who loves sleeping, dozing and dreaming, but most of all, he loves his best friend, Richard. Every morning, as Richard prepares to go to work, he has to ignore Nipper begging him to stay. One day, Nipper notices that Richard has left his lunchbox behind, and embarks on a mission to deliver it. En route, he encounters many obstacles that challenge his determination. Will he reach Richard with his lunch still intact?”
