I have an interest in developing innovative person-centred services for people post-injury (ABI), that promote individual well-being and skill development. I am passionate that skills, quality of life and social integration can continue to improve after acute rehabilitation with the right support and creative teamwork.I have worked in the social care sector since 2000, and had the privilege to work with many different people in different life circumstances (my main interest being rehabilitation pathways). I have a passion for continual improvement in community based rehabilitation, and thrive in creative, dedicated environments.I did my MSc. research project on the impact of altruism on well-being post injury, and am interested in new approaches to improve the quality of life/ rehabilitation potential in the people we support.
