About Lucy Fernandes

As the Director of FAR Training, I am passionate about providing high-quality accountancy training and mentoring to adult learners and apprentices. I have over 25 years of experience in the accounting industry and education sector, and I hold an ACCA qualification, which enables me to assess the competence and skills of accountants across various sectors and industries.I founded FAR Training, the trading name of The Fernandes and Rosario Consulting Limited, with a vision of helping employers and learners make the most of apprenticeship funding and opportunities offered by the UK government. I am also proud to work as an Independent Assessor for the AAT and CIMA, conducting End Point Assessments for Trailblazer Apprenticeships. The administrative role of AAT Coordinator required significant involvement in the AAT programme at our centre in Leeds harmoniously with internal and external stakeholders of BPP. I worked alongside colleagues based at different locations of BPP and pursued their opinions while also influencing their judgement from time to time.
