Despite thoroughly enjoying my time within the legal profession I decided to follow my heart and move in to teaching. With the interpersonal and communication skills learnt whilst in legal practice I have quickly acquired a reputation for being approachable, always willing to help and ensuring that every student is treated like the individual that they are. With my commitment to my continuing professional development, I completed the Schools Direct teacher training route, achieving the grade of Outstanding. Prior to completing my teacher training, I secured an M.A. in English Studies from Sussex University. In 2013 I also achieved a Commendation in my LL.M from The College of Law, I completed this whist continuing to progress at Family Law Partners as a Solicitor and as an integral member of a client focused team. The world of education continues to keep me engaged as it is one where people are encouraged to share their knowledge and experience with each other, creating an environment that is conducive to learning whilst aligning with a shared vision of delivering outstanding teaching, workable outcomes and ensuring that all students progress along their own, personal, educational journey. Outside the workplace, I also like to challenge myself and, having already completed the Brighton Marathon, I continue to challenge myself with outdoor running and fitness events. I set myself a goal and am relentless in pursuing this through to completion, an attribute that, I believe, is essential in the demanding teaching profession.
