Initiated and delivering a multi-stakeholder monitoring and habitat improvement project. Successful funding bid application- securing match funding from Shropshire Hills AONB and the local shoot syndicate. Set up a new dormouse nest box monitoring scheme (integrating into the PTES National Dormouse Monitoring Programme). Creating a woodland management plan (FC standard) and guide and undertake practical habitat management: coppicing, ride scalloping, planting of connecting corridors to neighbouring woodland, grey squirrel and deer control. Developing relationships with other local landowners and monitoring programmes to adopt a landscape scale conservation approach. Engaging with local schools to share knowledge and inspire future generations.

Delivering a Heritage Lottery funded project to increase our knowledge of rare species distribution and abundance in the under-recorded area of Suckley Hills (Malvern Hills AONB). The project will act to increase biological recording in the area through landowner engagement and skilled volunteer training for rare species surveying and monitoring. Working with the Malvern Hills AONB Partnership, this crucial information will help provide support for landowners to undertake conservation management, enhancing and protecting this special landscape.

Working and training alongside Flora Locale, Emorsgate Seeds and The Centre for Agroecology, Water and Resilience (CAWR) - Coventry University. Developing knowledge of farming and the production of wild flower seeds and project work/research focused on habitat restoration in our farmed environment.

Worked as a team member on a number of wildlife research and management projects across the UK. Main duties included habitat surveying and mapping (GPS and GIS), landowner and public liaison, trapping, vaccinating and sampling badgers (Lantra certified), remote video surveillance and training.
