My responsibilities included assisting in all areas of the club including administration, golf reception and the bar and catering team. Starting out as a part-time F&B assistant, my role involved providing an excellent customer service for regular members and non-members and taking a proactive role in the successful delivery of functions up to 120 people, with responsibility for cashing up tills. My role later expanded to working in the golf reception assisting on the retail side, as well as working in the office completing administrative tasks; helping with existing and new member subscriptions; and handling both incoming and outgoing telephone calls.

My internship at HelloFresh entailed providing cover while a permanent employee took a short sabbatical. In this role, I managed customer subscriptions with outstanding payments, actioned fraud-related tasks and collaborated with a third-party collection agency to solve payment cases. I had a high level of responsibility from day one and the Microsoft Excel Skills I developed are invaluable, using VLookups, IndexMatch and Pivot Tables on a daily basis. Aside from my daily tasks, I conducted a project looking into payment failures to help mitigate customer debt.
