The British Benevolent Society of California is a 150 year old Bay Area non-profit organization with considerable investments that donates funds to needy British Citizens resident or traveling through the Bay Area. Cases are referred by the British Consulate-General and considered at monthly meetings. As Vice President I was responsible for chairing meetings, helping a diverse group of adults reach consensus on donation amounts, organize fundraising events and make speeches.

Administrative position reporting to and supporting the Consul in her work assisting Bay Area technology companies with their UK operations.

Responsible for putting together the programs for British Government Officials and Ministers visiting the Bay Area. Typically this would be meeting with academics at Bay Area universities involved in collaborative projects with UK Government and Universities or to Bay Area businesses with significant operations in the UK.
