The CCR program was comprised of monthly future-readiness workshops with each class in grade 6-8; individual counseling with 8th grade families through high school and YouthWorks summer job applications; informational/sign-up/celebration events to engage parents and caretakers; high school, college and career focused field trips; and intensive data tracking and evaluation. In the program's first year, I doubled the amount of eligible students who participated in Baltimore City's YouthWorks summer program.
