Band 5 paediatric nurse, working in Accident and Emergency at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital. I have received a 2:1 in BSc Child Nursing at Liverpool John Moores University, and was lucky enough to experience placements in a variety of different specialties. Through university I had placements in orthopaedic/neurology surgical, geriatric and Covid red wards, neurology, general surgical, general medicine, health visiting, orthopaedic theatres and recovery, oncology, PICU, A&E, children’s hospice and respite and NICU. I have been lucky enough to receive these placements in Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, Broadgreen hospital, Claire House children’s hospice and Liverpool Women’s Hospital.
