Surveying unexplored cave systems in the Losser Plateau of the Austrian Alps, as part of a 70 year running research project.Planning the logistics of long distance underground expeditions in a remote enviornment, including organisation of a base camp and a top camp.Researching hydrogeology and speleothem formation, particularly the development of 'popcorn' calcite in inactive cave passages, in comparison to biologically mediated calcite formations.
