- Managed the production and publication of travel guides, from commissioning and contracting authors to planning guide content, and correcting final proofs. - Edited all the guide text and maps, critiqued and overhauled existing coverage, selected photos and provided publicity information.- Primary contact for my authors; supervised them throughout the writing and editing process, created schedules and drew up estimates, synopses and contracts. - Authorised payments and author travel, kept financial records and organised title files for each book with relevant documentation. - Collaborated with other travel editors and liaised with photo editors, cartographers, typesetters and production. - Translated hard copy onto online platforms/website, utilising design skills.- Habitually managed up to 4 different projects, all at varying stages of production.
