Experienced involvement professional, having worked in public and third sectors for 15 years; I have significant experience of co-production and outreach work in addition to staff, project and events management. I enjoy new challenges, am motivated and vivacious. I’ve line managed both small and large teams and managed large budgets including financial planning and fundraising in addition to reporting to evaluators and funders.I have worked extensively with community groups and the public through consultation and active listening to create and develop projects and encourage uptake of services and participation in programmes and am confident at communicating at all levels, to any size group.I have experience of working with and influencing a variety of stakeholders from elected members and organisational directors to local community groups. I am passionate about partnership working to deliver better outcomes.Outside of work I love attending arts events such as theatre or festivals, going to museums and visiting heritage sites such as National Trust properties; I love to travel and enjoy gardening. In my spare time I am the co-founder and chair of trustees for a local CIO Kings Heath Action for Refugees (est. 2015), we run events, awareness campaigns and raise funds to support refugees in transit across Europe and those currently living in Birmingham.
